As one of the most popular and photographed venues in Atlanta, Callanwolde Fine Arts Center is a unique wedding venue. Located in Atlanta's historic Druid Hills neighborhood, the magnificent 27,000 square ft. Tudor revival style mansion is situated on a 12.5-acre estate of beautifully landscaped gardens and wooded grounds and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Historic Cator Woolford Gardens, located in Historic Druid Hills, are surrounded by 33 acres of forest. In 1997, the gardens were restored to their original grandeur to create a distinctive entertainment venue for weddings, receptions, rehersal dinners and other special events. The gardens include an historic colonnade, surrounded by annual and perinial flowerbeds that burst with color year round. CWG can accommodate both indoor and outdoor events and is fully handicap accessible. Site fees are used to support programs for the developmentally disabled at The Frazer Center.
Our beautiful neo-gothic style Sanctuary with stained glass windows and vaulted ceilings creates a sacred, classic and stunning backdrop for your wedding. Our permanent pews seat 200 comfortably on the main floor, and we have additional seating in our balcony for 65. We also have removable pews and chairs that can be placed in the Sanctuary to create seating for up to 375 guests. Converse Hall is our dining hall and can be used for your rehearsal dinner or wedding reception. Our dining hall can hold up to 250 guests depending on setup.
The Lake House at Avondale Estates is a historic, Tudor-revival venue on a beautiful lake, minutes from downtown Atlanta and Decatur. Comfortably accommodates 100 guests for sit-down dinners, 150 for buffet style functions.
