Rich went above and beyond for our daughter's wedding! All the sound for the ceremony was provided as well as for the cocktail hour. The reception was beyond our expectation! The Moxie Band are excellent musicians and showmen. The female singer was exceptional as well. The guests all thanked us for throwing such a great party! We could not have done it without Rich and The Moxie Band! Thank you for making our daughters and new son-in-law’s wedding festivities a huge success!

Absolutely incredible!! The Moxie Band performed at my daughter’s wedding in 2017 and were so amazing that hiring them for my youngest daughter’s wedding in 2022 was a no brainer! Rich is very responsive and professional and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect leading up to the big day. They read the crowd well, played the perfect variety of music, and kept the dance floor PACKED all night long. Guests have not stop talking about how awesome, talented, and FUN they were! HIGHLY recommend The Moxie Band!!

Love this group! I saw them a few years back at a friend's wedding and knew who I'd be calling for my own wedding. Good variety of songs, highly skilled, and great energy. They also handled the MC portion of the evening from the ceremony through the reception. They were well experienced at this and helped us throughout the planning process. We were able to pick our own songs for seating music, procession, introduction, set breaks.. you name it! We had multiple couples ask the name of the band so they could inquire for their weddings. IF YOU WANT TO DANCE IT UP THIS IS YOUR GROUP!

Rich and the Moxie Band were the glue of my daughters Covid Wedding reception in December 2020. Rich was so caring , a phenomenal MC and the band kept the energy level up from the beginning to the end. We would hire him again but we are now out of daughters to marry off, so please don’t hesitate to hire them for your event! You will not be disappointed and it is money well spent as guest are still talking about two thing from the wedding, 1. Her brother who married them and how amazing and priceless that was, and 2. The awesome Moxie Band! Can’t get any sweeter than that, Thank you Rich and the Moxie Band for making the wedding reception so fun!

The Moxie Band performed at my brothers wedding and they were so amazing we knew we had to have them at mine! They get the crowd going and know how to have fun. Cannot recommend them enough! Very talented musicians and wonderful MC abilities! Best band around!

Moxie band was AMAZING. Rich was super easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. He is very detailed and puts time/dedication into making sure every last detail is taken care of for the big day. Moxie band handled our cocktail hour music and reception. They did an outstanding job and kept the party going all night. I would highly recommend to anyone! Just wish we could relive the night over and over!!

My husband and I cannot thank Rich and all of The Moxie Band enough for playing (pun intended) such a huge role in the best night of our lives. Rich made the entire process absolutely seamless from start to finish. He was so easy to work with, responded to emails promptly and seemed genuinely as excited about our upcoming marriage as we were! He was amazing during the entire planning process. We hired them as an add on for a three piece jazz trio and cocktail hour was swinging! When it was finally time to get the party started, we had the time of our lives! Rich is the perfect MC and the talent of the entire band is truly impressive. if you are looking for the best band ever look no further! Seriously, this is your sign. I’ve never written a review before. All of our gusts were impressed with not only how well they played but how well they played such a wide array of music! It was amazing. We were on the dance floor ALL NIGHT LONG. Literally everyone, all ages, danced until it was time to go to the after party. We cannot thank Rich and The Moxie Band enough. They simply are the BEST. As a bride who read thousands of reviews- I hope this helps someone! Best band, reasonably priced for the best night of your life.

We cannot say enough AMAZING things about the Moxie Band. From the first day I contacted Rich to the wedding day, he was SO responsive. This is a huge deal when planning a wedding. He was always there to answer any questions for us, and he literally walked step by step through the entire reception with us to make sure we were not missing any big moments! My mom and I planned the entire wedding ourselves, and he was an amazing resource. He even met with us in person before the big day, so we could walk through everything and talk out any questions or concerns we had. We also had Rich play the music MP3 for us during the ceremony. He arrived at the venue extremely early to set up, which speaks volumes of his dedication to his brides. Even though we were super busy before the ceremony, it eased our mind to see him there and ready to go! Beyond their professionalism, the Moxie Band is extremely talented! The dance floor was packed the entire time. The only thing that could have been better would have been if the reception could have been longer!! If you are considering the Moxie Band, do not look any further! You will not be disappointed! Between their amazing talent and their ability to keep the dance floor packed to their professionalism and knowledge of the field, there is NOTHING to worry about! One thing Rich said to us before the wedding was that he did not want us to have any worries on the wedding day and that they would take care of it all! They absolutely took care of everything and exceeded our expectations! We hope to have an excuse to book the Moxie Band again soon!!!!

We love Moxie!!! They performed at my sister's wedding in 2005 and we loved them so much, we booked them for our wedding on October 6, 2018. I wanted live band however my daughter was a bit concerned that they would not be able to mix the old time favorites with current popular tunes. You can skimp on the food and skimp on the flowers. But, do not skip on the band. My daughter's wedding in Savannah this weekend was beautiful in all respects. However, The Moxie Band made it a real party and made people enjoy the reception all night. There was no empty space on the dance floor. If you want a band that is super easy to work with before the wedding, is great at playing emcee and entertaining, and also plays the BEST music and keeps the dance floor packed, then you need to chose Moxie Band! We had Moxie Band for my wedding on April 2nd. Everytime I spoke with Rich I was blown away! We had alot of request for the day (special mp3 songs, special requests for the band) and there wasn't one thing he wasn't 100% on board with!! It never took him longer than a couple of hours to get back with me, no matter the time/day I emailed or called him which I really appreciated! The day of the wedding we even changed some things around and he could not have been nicer or more accommodating! Every time I spoke to Moxie Band I was told and felt the same way - this was my day and they were going to make it the best day they could!

This is our 2nd wedding with Moxie. When our baby d became engaged, we immediately called Rich to get her date on his calendar. Rich is very professional, nice, and accommodating. The Moxie Band played at my wedding just this past weekend. It was an awesome and fun wedding because everyone enjoyed the music so very much. I think everyone danced to the music and sang with many of the vocalists. They are very talented people and it was obvious that they played to the crowd. I can't say enough good things about this remarkable group of people. Not only are they *extremely* talented, but they are extremely professional as well. Each communication with Rich leading up to the wedding was prompt and detailed. And Rich maintained a level of enthusiasm the entire time that was contagious. Wow! Wow! Wow! The Moxie Band is fantastic! We chose them based on the reviews we saw on this site and they were all exactly right. Rich is a pleasure to work with and really tries to accommodate even the most difficult requests. The band learned our first dance song. They arranged to play my parents' first dance song. The Moxie Band provided the entertainment for our daughter's wedding and boy did they ever. From the introduction of the wedding party to the last dance, Rich and the gang was wonderful. Working with them before the wedding was very easy and professional. They are very organized and did their part to fit into our busy day. They prepared in advance paying attention to the little but important things like making sure they knew how to pronounce everyone's names. They worked with our daughter and son-in-law to prepare the right music. The quality of the music was excellent as evidenced by how both young and old connected to the songs from their times. When our daughter came up to us begging to postpone their departure so the dancing could continue, we knew that was a good thing. But, the statement that summed up the night the best was when our son told us the next day he had never seen his sister have more fun - ever. Thank you Moxie Band!

The Moxie Band was an absolutely incredible addition to our wedding. They were really easy to work with, and leading up to the big day, Rich was always quick to respond to any email I sent him, and he made the music a very low stress part of the planning process. As for the day of, Moxie was probably our favorite part of the reception. They played great music all through dinner, followed by the first dance, father/daughter, and mother/son, and then they immediately went into what seemed like the perfect song to get EVERYONE on the dance floor! They knew exactly what would get people dancing, and they kept everyone dancing all night! Whenever people talk to us about our wedding, the first thing they say is how amazing the band was, and we couldn't agree more! Moxie was phenomenal! Music was one of the most important things to us when we were planning, and Moxie seriously delivered. We could not have been happier!

I cannot say enough great things about The Moxie Band! From the moment they started playing during cocktail hour, transitioning through dinner and the dances, then finally revving up the party they were fantastic and knew exactly what they were doing!! All, and I mean ALL, of our guests danced the entire night. The music selection was upbeat and relatable to all guests. The band members were so great to work with from the moment we first reached out for a quote. They were timely in responses and were very eager to work with us. They were also very helpful with providing assistance for music selection. Finally, the wedding. The band was so engaging and were so kind when my father, husband, and even a few guests wanted to join them on the stage. The Moxie Band seriously brought the house down and truthfully made our wedding what it was! It's been 5 months, and our family and friends are still talking about The Moxie Band!

As mother of the bride, I wanted to make sure that the music was well done. We are fans of ballroom dancing and wanted our music played as well as our daughter's. Everything went beautifully. Prelude, processional and recessional were right on time and then the band started and it was party time. Bride and groom loved the band, as did our guests. All asked, "Where did you find this band?" Even non- dancers danced. Would definitely hire them again if I had more children to marry off.

Moxie was fantastic! During the planning the process, they were willing to work with our budget and they were so easy to work with in choosing songs, etc. Our wedding reception simply would not have been the same without them. They were high-energy and I have NEVER seen a dance floor that packed for the WHOLE reception. Even when the band took their short breaks, our guests stayed on the dance floor. At the end of the night, our guests did not want to leave. Moxie was a fabulous band and we are so happy that we chose them for our wedding reception! Our wedding photographer emailed me after the wedding and asked for their contact info so she could recommend them to future clients. They were incredible.

My sister hired them for her wedding 6 years ago and when I got engaged they were the first vendor I booked after our venue (I actually even worked with Rich regarding their availability to make sure we could have them on the dates our venue had open). People are still talking about what a great wedding my sister had and how fantastic the music was I just knew we had to have them at my wedding too! Rich is so helpful and responsive it made planning the music easy and he was always there to help answer any questions and was so knowledgeable about everything even down to our specific venue. The Moxie Band is an extremely talented band that is truly the life of the party! They were an absolute pleasure to work with and helped make all the planning easy. Rich is very professional, a lot of fun, and a pleasure to work with. Guests were on the dance floor all night long and although the wedding was in August, they are still commenting that it was "the best reception ever". They played the music we wanted, including polkas and learned a few songs they did not know. I would recommend them in a heartbeat - without any hesitation. Planning a wedding is a lot of work - but this was the easy part! I booked the Moxie Band for our wedding after I attended a friend's wedding where they played because they did SUCH a great job. And at our wedding, they definitely did not disappoint. The Moxie Band was wonderful to work with from the moment I emailed an inquiry about booking them. They got everyone on the dance floor, which is exactly what I wanted at our wedding! Rich was wonderful to work with and answered emails promptly -- he even called me a couple days before the wedding just to check in and review a few details. Rich checked in with me a couple times during the wedding just to make sure I was comfortable with everything. Our wedding guests raved about the Moxie Band and had so much fun dancing to them! The Moxie Band was a huge hit at our wedding reception! Rich and the band set the tone for the evening with enthusiastic introductions of the bridal party. As soon as the first guests hit the dance floor, it was never empty for the rest of the night. The Moxie Band played a great variety of dance songs, spanning multiple decades, which kept all ages engaged. Rich was really great about checking in with us (bride & groom) throughout the evening to make sure everything was going well. Our wedding was the third time that my wife's family had The Moxie Band (TMB) play. I was there for the second wedding and it was obvious that they are masters of their craft. I have literally had more than 10 people that were at the wedding tell us that the music was perfect. Rich is extremely friendly, flexible, and a great MC. Amidst all of the stress that wedding planning and vendor management is, it was a much welcome change to have someone so relaxed and helpful. When any of our friends get engaged, we always refer them to TMB and will continue doing so.

For me, choosing the perfect band was more important than our venue, or my dress! Fortunately, Moxie Band delivered above and beyond my wildest dreams! For starters, Rich is the consummate professional and does his utmost to understand all of the details for the big day so that everything works seamlessly. If you want a wedding where the guests are so busy dancing they can’t be bothered to eat or drink, this is your band! Even family friends who NEVER dance were working it! Every single member of Moxie Band is really talented! Most not only play an instrument but are also true vocal soloists in their own right, so they can cover a diverse range of material. They also clearly love performing together. However, the most remarkable thing about Moxie Band is that, even though they’re so good that you would go to a show just to see them, they also know how to blend into the background and let the bridal party shine.

Throughout the entire process, every element of the Moxie Band’s performance was first-rate. They were happy to answer questions before we had formally contracted them to play the wedding & were never pushy about timelines, musical selections, or payment. Rich was both flexible and accommodating at our pre-wedding meetings. He was extremely well-organized & provided thoughtful guidance concerning what types of music—as well as when to play it—would give our guests the best overall experience. Moxie Band was by far our best vendor at the wedding. Rich and the gang went above and beyond to make our event special. Leading up to the wedding they were easy to communicate with and we did not have to repeatedly meet with them to confirm song lists or anything else. They were just very professional. This is much appreciated with all the other things that you are trying to coordinate on one day. They also learned a song just for us to dance to as our first song as a married couple. It sounded great, better than the original artist for sure, and was a really personal touch they made possible. The rest of the night the dance floor was packed and Rich was a great MC to boot. If you book them you don't have to worry about anything, they led the wedding all the way to our exit. Moxie Band was definitely worth the money and really came through to make our wedding fun for the guests, it is a party after all!

We knew we wanted a band but had no idea where to start looking. We read lots of reviews and found The Moxie Band. They had rave reviews and many stated "they had everyone dancing all night long!" This is exactly what we were looking for, a band to get the wallflowers on the dance floor and a party that lasted til the end. From our first email encounter, Rich was professional, courteous and friendly. He was accommodating and pleasant to work with. Before dinner was even finished the dance floor was packed! Ages 2-80 were all over the dance floor! The energy they produced was clearly contagious and brought smiles and fun to the entire ballroom. As previous reviewers have said, they kept the party going all night and I was frequently asked who the band was and where I found them! Everyone enjoyed the entertainment and they truly made our special day perfect. I highly recommend the Moxie Band for any event!

The Moxie Band was SO MUCH FUN! We didn't leave the dance floor the whole night! My mom wanted to mingle with our guests, but there wasn't a single person sitting at their tables. Our guests had a blast, and I still have people telling me how great the band was. Rich is extremely professional and responsive. Choosing the Moxie Band to play at our wedding reception was one of the best decisions I made during all of the wedding planning. From beginning to end, Rich & band were kind, courteous, & genuinely cared about making my wedding day the best day of my life. They brought such a magnificent energy to the reception and as soon as dinner finished, everyone was dancing. Even guests I thought would never have danced were the first ones out on the dance floor! Rich shined as a Master of Ceremonies, keeping the night in a continuous flow. Each member of the band gave 110% in their performance & all of my guests noticed. The most compliments we received after the wedding were about how fantastic the band was. A guest even mentioned that it was the best wedding he'd been to in over 20 years! We booked Moxie Band for a corporate dinner event. These guys are amazing!! We had 300 in attendance and half were from countries outside of the US. They had you on the floor by the second song-even the more reserved individuals couldn't help but get moving on the dance floor. I would highly recommend The Moxie Band! They sound polished and are incredibly professional. People at the office will not stop talking about this band!

We had heard The Moxie Band several years ago at a friends's wedding. My daughter saved their business card and said whenever she became engaged, she wanted Moxie to play at her wedding reception. Several years passed, and when she became engaged, she ran up to her room and produced Moxie's business card. The Moxie Band just entertained 250 people at our daughter's reception and everyone loved them!! All ages were up on their feet dancing. I think the party could have gone on well into the wee hours of the morning, if our guests had had their say. Everyone wanted to know who was this band, where did we find them, where were they from....and HOW GOOD THEY WERE!! If you want to have a fun reception with everybody dancing....book MOXIE....

Moxie was not only the perfect compliment to our wedding reception, but they flawlessly kept the energy of the evening moving from beginning to end. Rich was VERY thorough during the planning process and was very organized and pleasant to work with. He was also amazingly accommodating during the wedding. He subtly would check in with me and my family to ensure they were meeting our expectations. They, in fact, exceeded out expectations. Kristin's voice was amazing and she sang our first dance song better than I had ever heard it. It was magical! I also requested several songs to be played thoughout the night -- songs that I knew meant a lot to my friends and family. Rich successfully incorporated each and every song at the absolute perfect time in the playlist! Everyone had a BLAST and I've already had friends ask me for Moxie's information for their events! Moxie was absolutely fantastic! Rich did a remarkable job coordinating everything before, during, and after the wedding. They were all such a joy to work with from Day 1 until the Big Day! The Moxie Band played at our wedding at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center and they were amazing! Outside of the incredible music and fantastic energy they brought to the party (especially for the last set), they were a breeze to work with. At our first meeting with Rich, you could tell he and the band are well seasoned veterans and are able to give great advice as to how the flow of the evening will go. He also emphasized that everything would be flexible throughout the night and he wasn't lying. If there was ever a request or if we wanted to alter the itinerary all we had to do was tell Rich and it was done. Now, onto the actual music....as mentioned above, it was incredible. The band had so much energy and played great music. The band was definitely one of the most frequently mentioned "favorite parts of the evening". The Moxie Band was fantastic and we would highly recommend.
