My husband and I got married at the Thompson House April 4th, 2015 and absolutely loved it! The team is so professional and works so hard to make sure everything goes smoothly in the days going up to the wedding and the day. We loved that they allowed you to bring in your own photographer, caterer, DJ, and cake baker. They do require you to use Flowers by On but our flowers were absolutely beautiful and I would not have wanted to use anyone else. The venue and gardens are beautiful and are a perfect setting to celebrate the start of your marriage.

We got married on May 2015. We had an Indian Fusion wedding with around 250 guests. It was absolutely amazing venue with such great character. This venue has many areas to take great photos. Our coordinator Sheila was very helpful and got everything lined up for our big day. This was their first Indian wedding and Sheila did everything to learn the customs and meanings of everything. She listened to what I wanted and made it come through. The flowers were by the venue also, Flowers by On, and Sheila did a great job creating bouquets and the flower decor. Everything turned out beautiful and my family was so happy.

The Thompson House did a wonderful job in making our day the best we could have imagined! They provide the flowers and decorations and do an AMAZING job with them. From recommending other vendors that are the best quality at the best price to deciding on florals and decor to easing any concern you could possibly have, the entire staff go above and beyond to make sure your wedding day turns out beautifully! We wouldn't recommend any other venue!

I had my husbands surprise 50th Birthday Party at the Thompson House and Gardens in August 2011. From the start, my event planner made sure everything was handled. I cannot now nor could I ever possibly thank you the way you deserve. You and all the THG staff were truly wonderful on the day of my wedding and in all the months leading up to it. You provided me with advice about how to stay within my budget and still have an elegant event...not many venue owners would be so kind. You also made the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. The Thompson House is beautiful as is, but you made it look like a wedding day dream for my special day and for that I will always be eternally greatful! To say that you made my wedding day perfect would not do it justice. You not only made it perfect, but you made sure I didn't have to worry about a thing, and I don't believe I know many women who've gotten married who can honestly say they didn't worry about anything on their wedding day, but I can!!! When my fiancee and I became engaged in the Spring of 2010, I found out that according to my family and its history, a church was the only acceptable place for a for a marriage ceremony. After long discussions, visiting the Thompson house and meeting with the owner, "On", and event planner, "Jessie", we came to the conclusion that it WAS possible. We decided to hold the ceremony at our church and the reception at The Thompson House and Gardens. The owner, On Guest, was more than accommodating. She understood that I wanted the "TH vibe" throughout my wedding day. Even though the ceremony was in our church, 15 miles away, On went the extra mile to provide TH equipment and scenery to the church. The fact that she offers her own "in-house flower shop" was very convenient. Her decorating skills are outstanding and my flower arrangements were among the top discussions with friends and as a past Bride, it's really nice looking back and not having any regrets.

On and Jessie, As the Mother of the Bride, I would like to express to the both of you a very "heartfelt thank you". Lori & C.J.'s wedding on June 11, 2011 was totally beautiful. Your facility, your floral arrangements and Jessie's dedication to a timely schedule was superb!! Our wedding guest were very complimentary on your venue and your every details. On, Michelle and I had our wedding on May 28th at the Thompson house in Bogart, Ga and had the best experience you could ever ask for. Everything from the flowers, to the hospitality and positive attitude of On (Owner and overall coordinator) and her staff made the entire experience something to never forget. I have been to so many weddings in all price ranges, and I can truly say that from my experience and what I have heard from the guests, this was the most beautiful and happiest place you could ever have your wedding!! I would like to thank you and your staff for the beautiful wedding on Oct. Everything that April and I had envisioned came to life on that day. The weather even cooperated. It just set the tone for the easy elegance that we desired. I got so many compliments on the venue. My friend said that everywhere she turned, there was another lovely picture. The courtyard looked stunning. I loved the flower arrangements outside. They were an earthy, cool version of what was going on inside. The ballroom was just gorgeous. You really went over and above with all the decor. The flow of the evening was just right. There was no awkward moment where people look at each other and say, "What do we do now?" Phil and I were able to work the room and enjoy our guests and dancing without worrying about those pesky details. Jessie told me, "Your job today is to be pretty and my job is everything else." Thanks for that!

On, All my company is gone, my house is almost back in order and now I've got all of these wonderful memories of a "Fairy Tale" wedding for Meredith and John. You totally out did yourself on this wedding! I have never seen so many Beautiful flowers in one place in all my life. Everyone I talked to had nothing but rave reviews and telling me how beautiful everything was and what a perfect setting ( Thompson House ) for the wedding. On you truly made a dream come true for Meredith. On, I can not thank you enough for making our wedding the best day of our lives! You went above and beyond to do whatever it possibly took to make Tommy & I happy, and we truly appreciate everything! I knew from the moment we came to THG that it was going to be our venue. It was the first and only place we looked! We so enjoyed Emily and Josh's wedding Saturday night! Pam and you made it such a magical experience for them. I can't think of a thing we'd do any differently.
