Rev Deanna was truly a pleasure to work with. We were not looking for a religious ceremony and she helped us make the ceremony so memorable and fitting to us and our relationship. She was a calming presence from day 1 to walking down the aisle and was so easy to work with. She provided plenty of resources but still collaborated with us to make the ceremony personable. Finding an officiant for our wedding was a very daunting task; neither I nor my now-husband knew exactly what we were looking for or where to start. I found Rev. D via The Knot & set up a call with her based on her wonderful reviews-- which I can now say are 100% accurate! Rev. D was wonderful to work with from start to finish. When I told her I wasn't sure where to start with the ceremony, she graciously sent over 15 - 20 scripts from her previous weddings to use as a jumping-off point. I gave her back a Frankenstein-esque mash-up of the parts of the ceremonies that resonated with us & she suggested important tweaks to help with the flow of the ceremony. When Rev. D arrived on Wedding Day, she made sure to find both of us to ease any worries/ answer any last-minute questions. She officiated our ceremony flawlessly & it felt that much more special given that it was 100% tailored to us. I would absolutely recommend booking Rev. D to anyone looking for a beautiful, personalized, well-run ceremony (& all the help that it takes to get there)!

Rev. Deanna was fabulous! She came highly recommended by LLI where we had our wedding, and was on their preferred vendor list. I knew I needed her professionalism and expertise, when we first meet via email. A few months before our wedding day, she shared several examples of wedding vows she had done, so to give me many options of how to build the service. We incorporated a unity candle lighting ceremony into our vows, and all our guests were amazed at her beautiful service. Rev. Deanna was a rock for me in the moments leading up to me walking out to meet my groom. She shared some kind words of wisdom, and I couldn't be more thankful. She filed our certificate with the county the very next business day and scanned a signed copy to me via email, and told me we were official. I HIGHLY recommend Rev. Deanna for anyone needing to contract an officiant for their special day!

Rev D was the best officiant we could have asked for. From the moment we first talked with her on the phone, we knew she was the person to officiate our special day. We were able to create our own ceremony that best fit us as a couple using elements from previous ceremonies she performed/shared with us. She genuinely loves what she does and learning about the love stories of each couple she works with. Rev D made us feel special and cared for. Also, she handles sending off the marriage license to the respective County Probate Offices and sends through confirmation once it has been received so you know things are official! Rev D was the best officiant we could've asked for! My now husband and I were worried about finding someone to officiate because we aren't super religious. Deanna was responsive, talked with us on the phone, eased our concerns, and even explained the marriage license process. She also sent us around 20 examples of ceremonies she's performed previously so we could create a ceremony that reflects us as a couple. There was no issue with how religious or secular the ceremony was, and she even said a blessing before our dinner reception. If I could give 6 stars I would - Rev D was the BEST and several of my wedding guests complimented how well-spoken she was! You will be in good hands working with her!

Rev. D was fantastic! We used her as our officiant on the recommendation of our wedding planner, Jackie Raez. Rev. D made my wife and I feel very comfortable throughout every step of the process. My wife is Catholic and I am non-religious and Rev. D was very sensitive to that. On the day of the wedding Rev. D made us both feel very comfortable from start to finish. As I was standing at the alter waiting for my bride to come down Rev. D helped to calm my nerves. Our friends and family gave many compliments about Rev. D and her words and presence. She maintained a genuine happiness and love for us as well as our special day. We would definitely recommend her for others. 10/10.

We met Reverend Deanna through our wedding coordinator. She was highly recommended but what really sold us was when speaking with other vendors, for example our harpist, they gushed over working with her. We had a very small wedding on a week day. Reverend Deanna made us feel like we were having a huge Saturday wedding and were just as important. All questions we had during the process were answered timely, she worked closely with us to develop our ceremony and she had all the paperwork needed and handled filing our marriage certificate. She was truly a blessing!

Reverend Deanna is truly magnificent!! A real gem! She helped my husband and I navigate through our very non-traditional wedding ceremony and we ended up with the perfect set of vows, readings, words, etc. Since our wedding was during COVID we were only able to have zoom meetings with Rev. Deanna. However, she made them feel so personable and like we were actually talking with her in person every time. The day of the wedding she came and checked on both of us and shared kind words and her expertise to help us through the day. I highly recommend her and her services!! She captivates the crowd and she is a true friend, by your side no matter what. She will not disappoint anyone who decides to have her be the officiant on their special day!! <3

Reverend Deanna is absolutely amazing! She was such a pleasure to work with from day one, for both our original wedding date and our postponed wedding date. Reverend Deanna made us feel so taken care of and supported throughout the entire experience, which certainly did not go as planned. After cancelling our original wedding due to Covid, we decided to plan a ceremony with only two weeks notice. She was available and incredibly helpful in getting us prepared, even while we were stressing with so little time. I cannot recommend Reverend Deanna enough!

We decided to go with a different script and she worked with it without any problems at all! To add to this, she was also so calm and collected it brought a sense of tranquility to the event which was much needed as we were so nervous! Not only did she make my husband and I comfortable, but she also went above and beyond to help out when the strap on my wedding dress snapped prior to walking down the aisle. Our wedding day was during the summertime, and as you can imagine, the Georgia heat and humidity was in full effect. But, Reverend Deanna ensured that I was comfortable by bringing me glasses of ice cold water and fanning me to prevent me from sweating. I will always cherish our moments with Reverend D. when I look back on our wedding day!

Rev. D was so great! We initially met her with our puppy and she was so sweet and you can tell she loves dogs. She was very nice and easy to talk to. Reverend Deanna is an absolutely WONDERFUL officiant! My husband and I got a bit overwhelmed when planning out our vows, so we reached out to Deanna, and she provided extremely helpful tips that made our ceremony exactly what we wanted. She is very kind, responds quickly, and is so patient when presented with tons of questions! She arrived early on our wedding day, and in the stress of other vendors running late, her calming presence was a huge relief! During the ceremony, she was still incredibly attentive - she even took out a handkerchief for me to wipe my happy tears! I think I would've been a huge mess without it! ;) She stayed behind after the ceremony as well, kindly fanning me during outdoor pictures on an unusually scorching day, with a smile on her face! When writing a review for a truly inspiring person, it is extremely difficult to limit the words. We were trying to decide what type of minister or justice we wanted for our wedding. I did a limited search and Deanna popped up. I felt like I had seen her perform another ceremony before but wasn't really sure. I read the reviews, I watched a video, and I was stricken by her personality right away. She's perfect, I thought. So, I talked to my partner about it and we both decided to meet with her and see how the fit would be. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Is this real life? Could any minister be this perfect for us, our family- blending situation, our laid back ceremony? Deanna was a God-send. Truly. We met for that cup of coffee to talk about our ceremony and she had us at HELLO. We talked about life, love, the pursuit of happiness, and all things weddings. Better Reverend than I could have hoped for. Reverend Deanna is very helpful for a couple like us that wasn't sure where to begin with creating a ceremony. D from the moment we met at a Starbucks for our consultation to my big day she has absolutely made me feel so confident about the most important part of our wedding day. Rev D is fantastic!!! She is such a lovely, kind soul. She was able to suggest different services for us to look over in order to chose the right ceremony for ourselves. She was very responsive to emails. She was flexible with our change of rehearsal time. At the rehearsal, she walked us through exactly what would happen. On the day of the ceremony, she was so sweet to check in on me prior to the service. She was perfectly flawless in the ceremony, so calm and collected. I can not say enough kind words for her. After a four-year engagement, my husband and I finally decided to pull the trigger on making it official and set a date that was three months away. We're not affiliated with any church or religion and wanted to do more than just go to the courthouse. So we took to the wedding sites and read all the glowing reviews of Rev. D, which are all completely accurate. She is so kind and helpful. We had no idea what we wanted in a ceremony, so she sent us about 25 sample ceremonies for us to review and encouraged us to pick and choose the pieces we liked and customize the ceremony as we saw fit. Rev. D was there to help when we needed it but wasn't pushy. She was gentle in her follow-up and let us work under our own timeline. She was flexible and accommodating onsite when my husband made a last-minute adjustment to the ceremony. I highly recommend Rev. Deanna is by far the sweetest and most helpful person I know! She was the most important piece to getting us married! She worked with us from afar, attended rehearsal, and after the ceremony she stayed a little while to remind us about the certificate process. She even went out of her way to walk our documents in because of our unique situation. Once we returned from our honeymoon, the certificate was in the mailbox! She walked us through the process at rehearsal and during the actual ceremony (it was so easy). We were put at ease and rest assured that everything would run smoothly - AND IT DID! I'm very late writing this review, but Rev D was absolutely great. My husband came to the U.S. from Ireland on a fiance visa, which was very expensive, and I was a final semester college student when we were married, so our options were fairly limited for our wedding. Rev D was incredibly understanding of our situation and was willing to work with both our budget and schedule. She was professional, dependable, flexible and VERY responsive to our needs as a couple. She got our license submitted incredibly fast, too, which was very important for the visa process for us. I am so glad she was the one to help us tie the knot. We really couldn't have asked for a better, more friendly officiant for our wedding and I wouldn't recommend anyone else for your officiant needs! Rev D is the best! :)

Deanna was a great Officiant! She was so helpful, answering all our crazy questions since this was a first for us. She sent us sample ceremonies for us to get ideas. And she was very warm and welcoming to our idea of a tree planting ceremony. We had a non-traditional, non- religious ceremony. We wrote our entire ceremony ourselves (using verbiage we found researching online and from the samples she sent us). She even mailed our marriage license in to the Probate Court and let us know when the court received it. Overall, wonderful experience working with Deanna.

She is very prompt with answering any questions, concerns, etc that you may have about your wedding day, as well as after the big day. One thing we really loved about her is her genuine interest in how you are doing. The first thing she asked me at the rehearsal was, "How are you doing, how are you feeling? Is there anything I can do for you?" That really touched me because of course brides are stressed in the few days before the wedding, and I loved that she cared so much. We were blessed to be able to find Rev. Deanna to preform our wedding ceremony. We are from Louisiana and decided to have a destination wedding in Atlanta. If you do your research, like we did, you'll see that Reverend D has a ton of 5 star reviews. And if you use Reverend D as your officiant, you'll find there's a reason for that - she's simply awesome. We met Reverend D for coffee to "interview" her a few months before our wedding, and it quickly was like we were having coffee with an old friend, and we decided on the spot she was the right officiant for us. Leading up to the wedding, she made it incredibly easy for us to put together the ceremony we wanted - she's happy to go as traditional or nontraditional as you like. At our rehearsal, she was the consummate professional, walking us through the ceremony quickly and effectively. And the ceremony itself was just perfect. Everyone always says "your ceremony was beautiful" and such, but so many people specifically made a point of saying how great Reverend D was - in fact, a friend getting married next year asked for her contact information.

She even helped us with obtaining our marriage license in Georgia since we were from out of town! My husband and I had quite a bumpy road as far as our wedding plans going smoothly. When I was referred to rev. D, it was an absolute blessing. She literally made plans with me ten days before my wedding. She was so polite and always responded in such a timely manner, which wasn't our luck with other vendors. The best thing about rev. D. is that she offers you a ton of ceremony scripts and from there you can mix and match in order to create your own. I didn't have a chance to meet rev. Reverend Deanna was amazing!!! She was the first and only officiant we met with. We decided on the spot to hire her. When we met with her she was so pleasant and and funny that my husband and I talked to her for two hours at Starbucks! Reverend Deanna was so helpful in putting together our ceremony. She has a wide range of samples you can choose from or you can go off the path and create your own. She is there to help if that is what you want. We pieced together everything in our ceremony from her samples and readings. She even sent us ideas for our butterfly release. On the day of the wedding I was very emotional and nervous. I was scared I would mess up my vows. She met with me before I walked down the aisle. Her kindness, happy and positive disposition calmed my nerves. To most of us, marriage is a once in a lifetime commitment. Thus, you're probably looking for an officiant who is professional as he/she is considerate, courteous and friendly. Reverend Deanna D. Lancaster gave us more than that and she always has a wonderful genuine smile! Couple of days before the wedding, we had to contact her with an urgent matter regarding our marriage license. It was past midnight, so we e- mailed her and she replied right away, even offering a phone conversation. She stayed on the phone with us for 30 minutes and resolved our issue. She helped him calm down and ease his emotions. During the ceremony, my husband was supposed to receive the rings from his best man. Instead, he yelled out our two dogs names and they came running out from the crowd surprising me. I started to tear up and I looked back at Rev D...she too was tearing up. My husband and I cannot say enough about Reverend Deanna Lancaster. We are so delighted that she was apart of our special day.

She took the time to get to know us a little bit and hear our preferences and then customized a ceremony that we were thrilled with.
