Lynn Sennett, Wedding Officiant
Being an officiant gives me joy, purpose and a deep sense of responsibility. The words I recite at each ceremony represent the values, feelings and promises of each couple. I advise couples to choose an officiant with whom they feel an empathetic connection. I look forward to meeting you.
A few years ago, I was honored to be asked to officiate the wedding of two childhood friends who reunited after nearly 40 years. After that ceremony, I felt joy, purpose and a deep sense of responsibility. The words I recite at each ceremony represent the values, feelings and promises of each couple. I advise couples to choose an officiant with whom they feel an empathetic connection. I advise them that even though they are surrounded by family and friends, they and the officiant have an intimate and sacred bond throughout the ceremony. Since 2011, I’ve performed ceremonies for diverse couples – mostly in a non-traditional model. I am open to creating a ceremony that suits each individual couple. I have a Master’s Degree in Counseling and have been a Life & Career Coach for over 20 years. I’m an Ordained Minister with the Open Ministry.
