Mark was incredibly easy to work with from the start. We met with Mark for a tasting, we were interested in 3 cakes for this reception. Mark was well prepared and made the tasting simple, with many great choices. The tasting set up was one of the reasons we chose Mark at Baker's Man. He had put together the different cakes with the different fillings. Presented very well and easy to decide on the different cakes and fillings. Mark is a creative artist and knew what are vision was for all 3 cakes. Day of the reception Mark was in and out with the cake set up before I arrived to thank him! The cakes were truly a hit at the reception next to the groom & groom! Thanks Mark!

The Baker's Man created our wedding and groom's cake. Both cakes were designed to perfection and tasted outstanding! Countless guests approached us that night and the following day about how much they enjoyed the cakes, wanting to know the name of the baker for their own events. Mark was professional and executed everything we asked for and designed during our cake tasting. He was also great about keeping the groom's cake a secret, careful about corresponding with only my email for discussions regarding the groom's cake. He personally delivers each of his creations because he is a perfectionist and wants to ensure a safe delivery of the cakes without blemish or incident. At our gift opening with family the day following our wedding, we served leftover cake, sandwiches, and other trays of food for lunch. Our guests bee-lined directly to the leftover cake, dessert first when it's best!

Mark with Baker's Man was absolutely fabulous. He took our vision for our cakes and created a piece of artwork that we never could have imagined. Working with Mark was extremely stress free, as he makes sure everything is done in a timely matter and on a very professional level. Our cakes were so beautiful I wish I could have preserved them! Mark delivered the cake personally which allows the bride and groom to relax and know the cake piece will be perfect. I highly recommend Mark Brickman of the Bakers Man! The cake was beautiful, and absolutely delicious! We had a reception for 70 in our home after a destination wedding. Mark was so easy to work with, providing samples and creating a reasonably priced cake for a smaller group. Try the mocha filling! Everyone raved about it! I can't tell you how many guests asked who made the cake and wouldn't leave without Mark's contact information!

I want to post the email I sent Mark the day after our wedding because thats the best review I can give. So I think that cake is your best work. I was so impressed and many of the guests were surprised when we told them it was a cake. In fact we asked one of the relatives if she saw the Indiana Jones cake and she said I didn't just the brides. We then told her that the grooms cake was right next to the brides and we showed her a picture and she yelled "That was a Cake?" I feel like thats the best compliment you could get. The cake was the big hit of the night so thank you for what you made us. It was perfect and like I said I think its your best work that I have seen. I am so glad that you came thru. Mark was easy to work with and was able to create the perfect wedding cake for us. The tasting was fun and easy, he was very patient as we couldn't make up our minds. I ended up designing the sketch of the wedding cake myself (because we had something quite unique in mind!) I emailed him the picture and he was able to take my drawing and create exactly the cake we had dreamed of. Correspondence was straightforward and simple. And, the cake was delicious !

Mark was AMAZING to work with!!! Not only are his cakes unbelievably delicious, but they are GORGEOUS as well! He made a golf groom's cake for our rehearsal dinner on Friday, and a STUNNING cake for our wedding on Saturday. I've never had so many guests send me pictures of a cake! It was also very tasty, and he offers a wide range of flavors. He can also makeup basically any flavor you would like to have. In addition to his work, Mark was SO easy to work with. He was incredibly responsive, and paid attention to all of the details. He was thorough and offered great suggestions when we were designing our cake. I would recommend him to all of my family and friends!!!

I honestly cannot say enough nice things about Mark and Baker's Man. He is very professional and great to work with. AND our cakes were amazing! The wedding cake was beautiful, but the grooms' cake was over the top! That cake was probably tagged on Facebook more than we were! I wanted something very special for my fiancé and Mark did it - he made a cake that looked like a beer cooler, with sugar ice-cubes and chocolate beer bottles! Mark at The Baker's Man made us the most gorgeous wedding cake and grooms cake for our June 14th wedding. We could not have been happier with his work. We went to 3 other cake tastings before finding Mark and we were not happy with the taste of any of the other vendors cakes. We were looking for something moist and delicious, not just 'pretty'. When we did our tasting with Mark we both knew right away his cakes were better than the others. He doesn't used boxed cake mixes and just food dye coloring for his flavors. He actually needed a few weeks to let the bananas get ripe enough for the banana cake that we both wanted as our main tier. We had RAVE reviews at the wedding, not only did the cakes LOOK amazing, but they also tasted better than any other wedding cake we had ever had. Don't go anywhere else for your wedding cake! Trust us, we did the legwork; Call Mark first! His prices are also very reasonable for the amazing work that he does!

Mark is a pleasure to do business with. He is an accomplished baker who was delighted to help us find our perfect wedding cake. He was very patient as we sampled all the flavors and asked questions. I had a cake design in mind and while another baker in town told me he couldn't do it on buttercream icing, Mark said it wasn't an issue and he could do it. I also sent him a picture of a groom's cake and asked him to deliver it with my wedding cake. When I walked into my reception, I was immediately drawn to the gorgeous cakes which were beautifully displayed. He did an incredible job on both and I received compliments all night. They were perfect in appearance and were both delicious. I would highly recommend Baker's Man, if you want a great wedding cake. I'm very selective and Mark never let me down. Great guy and a great baker!

Working with Mark at Baker's Man was so much fun! My fiance and I were very pleased at how helpful and knowledgeable he was when we first met. Mark helped us every step of the way and was so attentive to detail! Not only is he super talented, but he is fun to work with! We traded stories and got to know Mark along the way and that was great! After tasting many combos of cake flavors, we finally decided on our cakes and couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome! He created the most beautiful 6 tier lace cake that I've ever seen & even included one of my very own vintage cameo to truly make our wedding cake suit us perfectly! My fiance knew he wanted a GA Tech cake and Mark helped him design a wonderful carrot cake! Many of our guests said these were the tastiest cakes that they've ever had! He also was sweet enough to box up our anniversary topper for safe keeping. We can't wait until next year when we can enjoy it all over again!

Baker's Man did the cupcakes for our wedding a week ago, and we could not be happier with how they turned out. We met with Mark several months prior to the wedding, selected a few custom cupcake combinations (peach flavored icing!), and designed a large cupcake cake for us to cut. Mark let us taste a ton of different options until we decided on the flavors that we liked. He even created the custom peach frosting flavor while we were there. It was such a fun experience. For the actual wedding, Mark came through with absolutely beautiful cupcakes and a delicious large cupcake cake. All of our guests raved about how delicious the cupcakes were, and we couldn't stop people from sneaking cupcakes even before we cut the cake! The cupcakes and large cupcake cake looked perfect in our florist's display. And, they were totally gone by the end of the party! We thoroughly recommend Baker's Man!

Our wedding cake was absolutely gorgeous, as well as the grooms man cake which was an exact replica of a bicardi rum bottle. On top of that he had also made us cupcakes, cookies and an additional cake which were so good we had none left to take home since all of our guests ate them. He was extremely professional, on time, and hands down had the best tasting cakes in town. I tested many other bakers in the area and he beats other bakers easily. His cakes melt in your mouth, if you hire him you won't be sorry. Thanks Mark.

Mark went out of his way to make our day fabulous! Not only did he make a delicious and beautiful cake, but he helped us get flowers for our entire wedding. Flowers were a part of our cake design and when he heard that we were having a difficult time getting flowers within our budget, he connected us with a florist. Mark was also very quick to respond to our questions/changes and was always willing to offer us helpful advice. Mark from the Baker's Man was such a joy to work with. He was extremely prompt in responding to me, which is a plus for any Type A bride who wants to get things done. Not only is he prompt, his cookies are phenomenal! I did a sampling of a few cookie places and his by far was the best tasting and looking. Even the fondant tasted good and I don't even like fondant. He was very happy to modify designs to make our wedding cookie party favor even more special. I highly recommend him and would definitely come back for a cake or cookies in the future. My vendor did not allow me to bring in an outside cake, but I would definitely have picked Baker's Man for that too because his cakes looked so beautiful and I am sure they taste great too.

I would highly recommend Baker’s Man! We needed a baker who make a yummy cake and be creative enough to tie the design into our vision. We took Mark two pictures (one of a topsy turvy cake with a rustic theme and the other of a three tiered very elegant cake that had black ribbon around the bottom of each layer with a shiny rhinestone brooch). My husband really wanted to topsy turvy, but I wanted elegant and wasn’t sure how Mark would pull it off. I encourage you to check out his facebook page (Bakers-Man-Inc) and look for the post he made on Sept 7, 2012. This is our cake and it is beautiful! Even if this isn’t your style or doesn’t match your vision, what it shows is that Mark can make a cake to match your vision, whatever it is. Also, our cake was so delicious that our guests were fighting for extras and very sad when they thought it was all gone ;)

I'd like to start off by saying we are SO lucky to have been able to work with Mark for our wedding cake. He was able to accommodate our large party even though we came to him last minute AND requested a 600 person cake over a holiday (Labor Day) weekend. That being said, he was very easy to work with and the only problem we had was trying to pick a cake flavor, because they were all so delicious. We chose to go with a dummy cake and serve sheet cake from the back, and were even able to have 2 different cakes to serve our guests. On our wedding day,the dummy cake looked beautiful and the cake was delicious and far surpassed our expectations. We had friends and family who never even eat cake telling us that it was the best cake they've ever had and they finished every last bite of it. We were extremely satisfied with the Bakersman and his product and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cake. Hands down, he is the best.

Mark and his team did such a wonderful job with our cupcakes and cakes - we couldn’t have been more pleased. Not only was the presentation amazing and exactly what we were looking for, but the cupcakes and the cake were over-the-top delicious. So much so that we dug into the cupcakes within minutes from returning from our honeymoon (we froze a couple). I am pretty sure the top cake tiers will not make it until our one year anniversary. The owner, Mark, made my wedding day unique and delicious! Not only was he easy to work with (he was on top of things; he emailed to say he had received my checks, and to send friendly reminders), but his cakes were VERY delicious! When my fiancé and I went to his tasting, we knew instantly we wanted business with him (us deciding that quickly is VERY uncommon since we're both indecisive). It was obvious that he takes pride in his work and enjoys doing it. He was open to creating new flavors and shapes of cakes. When my fiancé and I proposed ideas that could be interpreted as crazy (wanting odd flavors and wanting doughnuts for the groom's cake) he was very understanding and respectful and made these crazy ideas come to life! The cake was the #1 thing I looked forward to the wedding. When stressed about the wedding preparation to the point I wanted the wedding day to never come, I thought about the cake Mark was making and felt excited about the wedding again!

The customer service at the Baker's Man doesn't end on your wedding day. Mark did our cake back in 2007 and it was wonderful. I decided to surprise my husband with our cake topper for our 4th Anniversary. I called the Tuesday before our Anniversary and thought I was too late to have it in time. Mark called me back on Wednesday and had found our file and said it would be no problem to have it ready by Saturday! Four years later and he's still there to serve. The replica was exactly how we remembered it and was absolutely delicious.

Our initial consultation and tasting with Baker's Man was great, they took their time with us and the cake tasted AWESOME! He creates a custom design, emails you a quote and makes the process simple. We never had to worry. On our wedding day, our cake actually stopped our guests and created a crowd. It was a show-stopper and was everything we originally discussed in our consultation. The cake looked and tasted amazing (we wanted a great tasting and great looking cake)! All of our guests were equally impressed with the taste and the look.

Baker's Man is highly recommended and we will continue to use them for years to come!

Baker's Man did an incredible job for our wedding! Mark spent quality time with us to make sure we had a cake that was perfect for US. He created a mixture of cake flavors and icing flavors that really complimented each other and the guests are still raving about it. Most guests wanted seconds! We can not say enough good things about Mark Brickman at Baker's Man! He was wonderful to work with and created the perfect wedding and groom's cake for our special day. My (now) husband is a Harley motorcycle rider. I spoke to Mark about incorporating this into the groom's cake, but I was worried it could overshadow our wedding cake. Mark came up with the perfect idea and we could not have been happier with the outcome. Our cake taste testing, which included full–size cake portions, was wonderful. Mark took the time to explain each cake flavor and was so pleasant. I was also surprised that the prices he quotes us were extremely reasonable; especially considering the attention to detail he incorporates in his cake decorations/creations. Both cakes looking amazing and tasted fantastic!! Our guests could not stop commenting how delicious the cakes tasted and I can not thank Mark enough! We plan to use Mark again and again!!

As i was planning my wedding from England i was eager to choose vendors that made my planning easier rather than harder. From the start i thought Mark was fantastic, he was quick to reply to emails, flexible on meeting times/dates (coming from England i was only here on certain dates/times), was happy to give advice and his cakes were totally delicious! I had some decorations made in England for the cake and when these were not up to my standards Mark was happy to share information of who/where i could contact to get the decorations replaced. Mark goes above and beyond and offers a service that should cost a fortune yet he is reasonably priced. If i had to use three words to describe the Bakers Man they would be consistent, reliable and Trustworthy. Working with Mark was a dream and i could not recommend him enough.

Mark Brickman is an amazing baker and cake designer. The cakes not only look gorgeous, but taste wonderful! We used Mark Brickman for the bridal and groom cake. The bridal cake had many sugar flower petals scattered all over the cake. All of the petals looked like real flower petals. He also designed a schnauzer made of gumpaste that was eating one of the flowers. For the groom's cake, he designed a sushi cake. The actual cake was a sheet cake with fondant over it that looked like a wooden plank. Sushi rolls, made of gumpaste, were placed on top of the plank. Guests thought it was real sushi. The cakes also tasted phenomenal! The groom's cake was a raspberry marble cake with key lime filling, while the bridal cake was strawberry marble and white cake with almond filling between the layers. All of the guests commented on not only the beauty of the cakes, but the taste of them. We look forward to using Mark Brickman for many other occasions in the near future!

Mark Brickman was probably the least stressful wedding vendor we worked with in relation to our entire wedding. He was completely flexible and listened to our ideas and had helpful suggestions of his own. It was almost like he could sense where I was thinking about going with cake designs before I got there. I even completely changed the design of the wedding cake 1 month before the wedding date and he was 110% okay with that. I would recommend him to all wedding couples. Not only were the cake designs beautiful, but the cakes themselves were perfect and delicious. He customized a grooms double-layer cheesecake for us to the groom's favorite kind of cheesecake and made it look beautiful and classy. Both cakes tasted amazing. I think we got a great deal for our money and could not have asked for anything more. Mark is responsive, helpful, and professional - all the things you want in a wedding vendor. Trust me!

The Baker's Man was also one of our best vendors. He was easy to work with and had a huge selection of flavors and fillings for us to choose from. I actually booked him site unseen based on the reviews of him on this website. We selected a 4 tier wedding cake with white chocolate and vanilla cake with lemon curd and raspberry marmalade. It also had a layer of raspberry marble cake and swiss buttercream. It was delish!!! We hadn't planned on getting a grooms cake, but while at the tasting my husband spotted a Hennessy bottle cake that he had to have. That one was made of chocolate buttermilk cake and caramel toffee crunch buttercream. Our guests were so impressed with both!!! Thanks Mark for everything!!! You can't go wrong with the Baker's Man!!!

I was having a small ceremony in Stone Mtn making all arrangements hundreds of miles away (I live in Ohio).The whole transaction was handled through emails. He was able 2 accomodate my request 2 design the cake with the same pattern found on the bottom of my flower girl dresses.All transactions went smooth and when I picked up my cake I was completly astounded at how beautiful the cake was.I cannot even count how many compliments we received about how beautiful the cake was and how delicious it was. Your cakes were amazing. The groom's cake, which was a White Sox Jersey (surprise for the groom) tasted delicious and the marshmallow fondant or whatever it was – was perfect. People who reportedly didn’t like carrot cake – liked carrot cake by Mark. And, the wedding cake was beautiful: the details (the R, the invitation touch, the ribbons, the color) make it a very attractive piece in the room. Some of my favorite pictures include the cake, the champagne glasses, and the candles… It was beautiful all lit up in the room. AND, it was also delicious (we had amaretto, raspberry creams, awesomeness)… Everyone loved it and people asked for seconds – which, I had never heard of before. Fondant can taste good with Mark! We plan on enjoying our cake top again on June 24th. My sister who is going to use Mark as her baker as well…

Mark at Baker's Man Inc is simply wonderful. We got in contact with him about our wedding and we met at his office. He was incredibly nice, all his cakes were delicious, and he listened to what we wanted and helped us design the perfect cakes for our wedding. His buttercream is divine and his chocolate ganoche (sp?) was wickedly good. Also, his fillings were so great; in the bride's cake we had lemon curd and raspberry in one layer and the other layer had keylime. The cake was silver with white chocolate melted into it... amazing. The groom's cake was pound with chocolate and heath fillings. Everybody raved about both cakes. Mark worked with us on everything and truly took time to make sure we were pleased with everything. His prices are also very reasonable! I would recommend him for any needs the require a cake (birthdays, weddings, anything).

I just had my wedding this past Saturday and all anyone can talk about is how wonderful our cake was! What a JOY it was, to see our lovely cake at our Wedding. Mark Brickman, of Baker's Man, Inc. did a stupendous job! The cake was moist, and delicate---we'd chosen a multi-layer of traditional white cake, layered with raspberry filling and white chocolate, alternating layers of strawberry-flavored-cake with lemon filling, and so on...The exterior was SO beautiful, my Groom-- Hansoo & I, hesitated to even CUT it! It was buttercream(delicious!)icing with a "ribbon" of fondant over it.Mark does NOT use any "lard" in his fondant, so no worries about that, either! The decorations on the cake consisted of silver non-pareils(Silver and Lavendar were my colors for Wedding), and Mark placed flowers which matched my Bridal bouquet, into the cake--on top, and on each layer's edge--giving it a fresh, yet festive feel! The Groom's cake we feasted on the night before, at our Rehearsal Dinner bears mentioning, too--it was a GOLF-CART--made with chocolate cake, and a white-chocolate icing. Mark was able to put Hansoo's alma mater's logo--Georgia Tech--on the top of the "cart", too! All my guests commented on both the cakes, and how yummy they were. In fact, even a few guests who claim to not care for sweets, ended up devouring quite a bit of cake! I HIGHLY recommend Mark, and The Baker's Man, for all your Wedding/Celebration/Party needs! He's personable, and prompt, with great attention to detail!

Mark was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL to work with! I work remotely so I had to do all of my wedding planning via the internet - which is difficult when you have hundreds of choices of bakers, photographers, etc. Mark was our third cake tasting of the day, and I am NOT exaggerating when I say that the others were no where near his caliber. The others were polite, pleasant, and good (taste like a regular made from scratch cake), but Mark´s was a full on dessert! So many options, lots of flavors, and ALL were amazing! To me, the wedding cake is a very important of a wedding. When I was looking for mine, I asked a catering manager for some recommendations and she responded that if the wedding cake was important to me I should contact "Baker'sMan Inc." I think that when you are preparing your wedding celebration you must have a good feeling about the people that are going to provide services for that special day. From the first moment I met Mark I knew he was the right person. He was polite, easy going, and very professional. Since we wanted a cheesecake for our wedding, he made a sample for us to try. We invited friends and families and we all loved it! The reactions were not different in our wedding day. I cannot describe the facial expressions of our guets first seeing and then eating such a wonderful cheesecake. Everybody said and still say that it was the best cheesecake they have ever had. Wow...what can I say. The cake that Mark from The Bakers Man made for my May wedding was one of the most beautiful and delicious cakes I have ever seen or tasted. We did a square cake with layers of buttermilk chocolate/chocolate icing/white cake/almond toffee cream/buttermilk chocolate and butter cream icing. It was amazing. His buttermilk chocolate cake is so moist and rich that it almost melts. He also did a large fondant bow on the top that was amazing. Let's just say there was not much cake left over and almost everyone cleaned his or her plates! Also his prices are great...that was such an added bonus. Thank you, Mark. Baker's Man was recommended to us by the W Hotel and we are so happy we followed their recommendation. From the tasting appointment to the reception itself, our experience with them was perfect! Picking the actual flavors for the cake was the hardest part because every type of cake and filling they have are incredible! He was recommended to me by a friend of a friend, and it was the best recommendation I received during all my wedding planning. His web site is very informative and after meeting with three other bakers, Mark's cake tasting experience was definitely the best! My fiance did not live in Atlanta at the time and since he couldn't be at the initial meeting, Mark offered to prepare another tasting for him. Mark also asked if I wanted a tour of his kitchen - a first! I was so impressed by his professionalism, his openness and of course, his work. Mark created a wedding cake and a groom's cake for us and even though I had a few changes along the way, he was always willing to price out another option and worked with me throughout the entire process. Mark was one of our first vendors we picked for our wedding and we were so glad that we booked him immediately. We signed with Mark after doing a taste test at his shop after he showed us huge albums full of his cakes that he decorated and after tasting about 10 different types of cake. Then Mark let us use foam shapes to decide on how many layers we wanted, if we wanted square, round, a mixture, how we wanted the layers placed, etc. He listened to all my ideas and then sketched my cake making sure that he had everything perfect. Mark was extremely quick with his return emails to me and my mom during the process of making changes and this definitely eased the stress factor in planning a wedding. We went with a three tier square wedding cake - buttercream icing with two layers of buttercream filling - one a yummy toffee flavor and one a raspberry buttercream. The cake had a huge fondant bow on top with long swags hanging down the side of the cake and fondant flowers on the corners of the squares. He placed my cake on a cake stand that I had previously purchased. We also got a ball and chain groom's cake in chocolate with chocolate icing - it was amazing. Both cakes were the best I've ever tasted - way better than his taste test even which he said it would be since our cake was fresh and the little samples were a few days old. The toffee layer had real little pices of toffee in it which was great! Lastly, the cake was delivered right on time and served more people than he quoted so you get as much cake or more than he says it will serve which is good.

My husband and I first met Mark Brickman a month before our wedding. We were lucky that Mark was available on our wedding day with such short notice, but it was meant to be. Given the short time we had to decide on the details, Mark prepared loads of samples at our tasting of various cakes and fillings. We decided on a wonderfully decadent cake with alternating layers and different fillings within each tier. The cake was a winner! Many guests came to us and said, "This cake is delicious." "It totally doesn't taste like a typical wedding cake." Nothing about Mark's work is typical. As far as design, the cake was stunning. Mark carried out our vision. He collaborated with my florist for a stunning presentation. I've only seen one picture so far, and tears welled up in my eyes. I love that our cake is more beautiful than the ones in magazines. Mark is gifted and I highly recommend him. I look forward to my anniversary for many reasons; one of them is because I get to taste the cake again!

Mark Brickman was wonderful to work with. I am not a very artistic person, so I was depending on him for allot of input. His suggestions and ideas were perfect. I had a fall/halloween wedding and he made the cutest groomsmen cake out of cupcakes (per our request) with spiders webs iced on top and little candy spiders. My bridal cake was so simple and elegant. I couldn't have asked for anything more. We had orginally went in looking for a very unique cake that about 3-4 other baker's had tunred me down on making. Mark was willing to make the cake and gave several ideas on how to make it work for us. In the end we decided to go with one of his own unique cakes instead!!!!

Mark at Bakers Man Inc. was an absolute pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Unlike other vendors that I worked with for my wedding Mark would always respond so quickly to any questions or requests that I had which made it so easy to work with him especially when you have so many things on your plate when planning a wedding. Also, with Atlanta traffic the way it is, it was at times difficult to be on time to meet Mark and he was very patient and understanding. Mark made the cutest cookies for my out-of-town guest bags. They were in the shape of the state of Georgia and said "Welcome to Atlanta" on them. They were the perfect little something to surprise our guests as they arrived at the hotel. He personally took the time to wrap them and tie each of them with a little bow. They were a huge hit! Also, our wedding cake was just absolutely the best thing my husband and I had ever tasted. I'm willing to bet money that nobody could bake a better tasting cake and the cake just looked spectacular. I really wanted something unique and not just a typical cake. If you think that wedding guests don't care about the wedding cake, think again. In our case, one of us (the bride) was not really into having a wedding cake, but the groom was. We decided that if we were going to have one, we wanted it to be special and memorable. Mark at Bakers Man exceeded our expectations. Not only was our cake beautifully designed and presented, it was absolutely delicious, with flavors that left guests wanting more. (Ours had praline buttercream and caramel toffee buttercream layers.) People actually went for second helpings, and a handful of people said it was the best wedding cake they'd ever eaten. One of the best things about Mark's cakes is that he uses premium ingredients, and this is evident. This is not your usual commercial-grade cake. The buttercream tastes like you just went out and churned the butter yourself. Our experience was excellent. We gave 4 stars out of 5 because this web site says that 5 indicates that the vendor "went above and beyond." We're not sure we could say there was anything "above and beyond" about Mark's dealings with us, because he did what we paid him to do, but we can honestly give him a solid 4.5 out of 5.

Working with Mark at the Baker's Man, Inc was an absolute joy, as well as a relief. The original baker I had chosen 3 months prior to my wedding date did not work out. So here I was, 4 weeks before my wedding, and no one to make my cake. We contacted Mark at the Baker's Man, and thank goodness he was available. We met with him that Saturday to taste some samples. He provoided us with 4 different cakes and they were all fantastic. I had never tasted cake as good as the Baker's Man. Needless to say we choose him to create our cakes. We did a traditional wedding cake and a guitar shaped grooms cake. Not only did they look great, but they tasted even better. I have never been to a wedding where the cake disappeared so fast. My only regret was not getting a second slice. Thanks Baker's Man!

After working for months with another baker with no success, we contacted Mark Brickman of Baker's M'an in Alpharetta. With only two weeks to plan, Mark stepped up in a professional and compassionate manner. He had us in his shop with numerous examples to taste and choose from. All were incredible. The choice was difficult.A wedding cake and grooms cake (shaped like a real guitar) was delivered. I have never seen two entire cakes eaten at an event! With more than enough for all, they were devoured. Each guest helping themselves to multiple pieces. If icky sweet cake is what you want, go to Publix. This was no match for any of the others. Besides being the most delicious cake, Mark is a delight to do business with. He was attentive to everything my daughter wanted. The day after the wedding the caterer commented that there was no cake left! She said this was unusual. We had even ordered more cake than was need for the number of people attending. Many guests had asked for second slices. If you are in the Atlanta, Georgia, area this is the baker to use for your wedding or really any occasion that calls for a wonderful tasty cake.

I have to tell you that we were so impressed with our cake that we e-mailed him from our honeymoon. We actually traveled with our top layer and divulged ourselves our first night here-everyone was jealous when they saw what a wonderful cake we had. I can't put into words how beautiful and perfect our cake was. The color, the taste, the presentation, and the flawlessness will always be appreciated. Everyone talked, not about us all night, but about our wonderful cake. I was a little jealous, but I'll get over it. We changed our cake design within a month or so of the wedding and Mark was very flexible, even designing some special accommodations so that the cake we wanted would look just like the picture. This man is a wonderful baker. I specifically went looking for someone that would make a cake that would TASTE GOOD! It seems easy to get a beautiful cake but I've had so many dry, bland, beautiful pieces of cake in my life that I couldn't stand the idea of offering that to my guests. Mark's cake was so delicious (we had the white chocolate with lemon and raspberry filling) that we still have guests commenting on how wonderful it was. It was great for the entire week after that my husband and I continued to eat it! We even ate the top - I guess we'll just have to get Mark to bake us a new one on our first anniversary. And the cake was BEAUTIFUL! He mimicked the floral pattern on my dress onto the cake. Even our caterer said it was one of the most breathtaking cakes she'd seen! What a bonus! And to top it off, Mark offers excellent service. I would recommend him to any future bride and I will be using him as the official baker for all of our family anniversaries, birthdays, etc. in the future!

Mark Brickman made the most wonderful cake for my wedding last week. He was the only cake vendor I called that bothered to return my call. Mark made the whole process of choosing a cake, style, filling, icing etc so easy. My husband was thrilled with the cake and it was the only thing on the entire buffet table that he even ate. I went to three cake tastings in Atlanta and was not impressed. The cakes tasted pretty good but lacked any artistic quality. My fourth and last meeting was with Mark Brickman of Baker's Man Inc, in Alpharetta. It was a little bit of a drive but well worth it. Mark was very friendly and professional and his obvious talent put me at ease. It was clear by his portfolio that he cared about the look and style of his creations as well as the taste. I sketched out a loose idea of what I had in mind and he was able to give advice and collaborate with me to enhance, not redirect, my vision. The cake samples tasted incredible. Overall the samples were sweet and rich, as most cakes are, but Mark was able to keep a lightness to the cakes so that they were not overpowering. On the big day I couldn't have been more pleased. Mark was the perfect choice!

Mark was great to work with throughout the entire planning process--even when I changed my mind 3 or 4 times! We finally decided to go with a cupcake-cake (because cupcakes are my husband's favorite), and Mark created delicious cupcakes filled with chocolate ganache. Let's just say I can' wait until my 1 year anniversary to eat my wedding cake again!!!! This man is a geat chef. The next few weeks people were asking me who baked my cake and I told them Mark the Baker's Man. A Lot of people can bake a good cake but when you are getting married and there is so much to do and keep track of one of the things that sets someone apart from everyone else is their ability to be one step ahead of you. Mark listened to what kind of wedding we were planning, got a feel for what kind of people we were, where it was, what we were wearing, etc. That is how thorough he was in our initial meeting. When we left his office after trying several slices of cake and fillings I told my then fiance "that man is our baker man!" Thanks Mark!

I chose Mark because I did not want a traditional wedding cake. His cake designs were amazing and paired with his delicious choices of cakes I knew he was the one to create our cake. He took my "deco" theme ideas and created the most fabulous and awe-inspiring cake I have ever seen! No one could stop talking about it during and weeks after the wedding, both the look of it and how good it was. It got almost as much attention as I did! I was absolutely stunned when I saw what he created. He captured exactly what I wanted!! I couldn't have been more pleased and it was so hard to have to cut it. Oh, what can I say about Baker's Man? How about, our cake was one of the top 3 things we were most excited about going into the wedding - just after our tasting? Most wedding cakes are beautiful but taste very... White. Our cake was not only beautiful, but it tasted (still tastes, we have some left) absolutely amazing! All I had to do was show Mark a picture I found and give him a color swatch to perfect the color and he made the most perfect recreation I could have asked for! Now, I LOVE cake and sweets, so I KNOW cake and sweets and believe me when I say, this was hands down the best cake I have ever tasted! He was so prompt anytime I needed to ask him a question, always polite and helpful. My five stars say it all!

About 3 weeks before our wedding, it was clear that the original bakery we had hired would not be able to do the job. Our wedding coordinator then referred us to Mark Brickman at Baker's Man. Mark is very professional, prompt in responding to emails and a very talented baker. We wanted to do something different, so he helped us choose 5 different flavors of filled cupcakes. Our guests devoured them. They were so delicious that my husband and I decided to eat our 1st year anniversary cupcakes now and just order a new cake from Baker's Man for our 1st anniversary. Mark's prices are extremely reasonable and and we couldn't have been more pleased with his services.

We selected Mark Brickman from The Baker's Man as our cake baker after visiting and tasting several different bakers/cakes in the Atlanta area. Mark impressed us with his professionalism, experience, creative ideas, and desire to make our cakes PERFECT (he actually did!). Above and beyond all of that, his cakes are absolutely DELICIOUS!!! During our first meeting with him, Mark took the time to get to know us, what kind of wedding we were having, what flavor and style of cake we wanted, and even drew a picture of what both the bride's cake and groom's cake would look like once we had decided. He was very enthusiastic about participating in our wedding, and explained that he would deliver the cake himself to the reception site, so that, in the event that something happened, he would be there to fix it. From the beginning, I never questioned that Mark would do what he promised and do a fabulous job - I was very confident in the promises he made. He was able to get flowers to place on the bride's cake through his own florist, which was much easier than coordinating with our florist, since that way he could decide what flowers would look the best on our cake. Both cakes turned out amazing- our guests are still talking about how beautiful and tasty they were two months after our wedding. We would highly recommend Mark for any wedding! (He even made the cake for our rehearsal dinner...the chocolate covered strawberries were great!)

When my fiance and I met Mark, he had samples of all the different types of cakes we were interested in tasting so that we could decide who we wanted to make our cake. We were looking for someone professional to work with, a cake that not only looked great but tasted great and recieve reliable delivery at the time of the wedding. Mark at the Baker's Man we felt were all of these things which is why we chose to have him make our wedding cake as well as cookies, since we chose not to have a groom's cake. On our wedding day, the cake looked beautiful and tasted terrific, so were the cookies. We had alot of compliments from our guests on our cake which was important to us since my husband loves sweets. Mark was a pleasure to work with and he delivered everything that he promised. Every little change I made was done exactly as I wanted and I would highly recommend his cakes and his service! I have had so many friends & family rave about how yummy the cake tasted. I selected his award winning cake design, Summertime Delight, and selected white cake with two layers of filling that would be enjoyable on a hot summer evening. The first filling was white chocolate buttercream with a thin layer of Swiss raspberry preserves, and the second layer was fresh lemon curd buttercream with fresh seasonal raspberries mixed within. Amazing. For the groom's cake, Kurt wanted a ski-theme since we got engaged in Aspen, and Mark created a carrot cake (again, to die for!) in a pile of snow with crossed ski's sticking into the air. It was a hit! I would highly recommend Bakers Man.

Mark was great to work with. My cake was four square tiers in white buttercream frosting. Each tier had a different design. The filling was fresh strawberries and chocolate with a white chocolate infused cake. It was so amazing to look at and tasted just as good. He also made our favors for the wedding that were cookies. Perfection! Our cake was beautiful and unique! We had a 4-tier squared cake (offset) that was iced smooth with Swiss vanilla butter cream frosting. The flavors we selected were three layers of white cake (traditional southern wedding cake). The first layer of filling had a Swiss almond butter cream with a thin layer of semi sweet chocolate ganache. The second layer of filling would be Swiss vanilla butter cream. Besides tasting the cake while David and I cut it, I did not get a chance to taste it! But I heard that it was delicious. Mark Brickman was fantastic to work with!!! My only regret is that we didn't place the cake in the center of the dance floor during dinner for everyone to see because it was so beautiful. I think many people didn't catch a look before we cut it!
