We booked the Atlanta Botanical Gardens for our Wedding Ceremony in October 2008. The gardens were amazing that time of year and we couldn't have picked a more beautiful location. We chose the Robinson Gazebo outside of the Orchid house because of the beautiful view of the Altanta skyline and amazing orchids in bloom. The garden event planning staff were amazingly flexible with our wishes, which made it that much easier on us when planning our event. The hardest decision we had to make was what part of the garden to take the pictures. We loved having our wedding at the garden and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in having an outdoor wedding with amazing flowers!

Our May wedding at the ABG was absolutely wonderful. The special events staff is very professional and knowledgeable. It was expensive, but totally worth it. Since you're renting out the entire venue, the guests can wander through the gardens and enjoy the exhibits. Our ceremony was in the rose garden, and reception in the Day Hall, which has tons of potential for decorating. If you're interested, book early. We ended up with a Sunday ceremony since we only booked about 6 months out.

Our wedding reception was absolutely beautiful due to this site. If you want a place with gorgeous scenery inside and out, this is the place! The gardens had just been renovated when we had our event. There is now a new rose garden with a gorgeous fountain that is all connected to the Day Hall, the inside room where all the food and drinks were served. The atrium that is located on the grounds remained open for our guests to enjoy all kinds of wildlife, plantlife and an orchid display. The staff was great and were so easy to deal with. Even the bar was easy to arrange (and not as expensive as we had planned!). All in all, it was a great experience.
