The spacious area has comfy chairs and a sofa for lounging, a powder room, and amenities such as a minifridge and Nespresso machine. Lastly, the swirling staircase delivers you to the romantic loft on the third floor. Here, you will find a Gulf view from this cozy reading nook. It is perfect for reminiscing about the details of your wedding and long conversations about your future. Leaving this space is only an option. The first floor serves as the bedroom, complete with king-size bed, luxurious linens, and a bathroom. Other amenities include complimentary bicycles and beach chairs with umbrella service.
If you are looking for a destination wedding as well as a honeymoon suite, The Court’s perfectly manicured courtyard is excellent for outdoor services. There are nine architectural gems to access the relaxing Gulf of Mexico waters along Seaside. The iconic Coleman Pavilion is the closest to The Court with easy access. Here, the first audible is water overlapping sand, and then seagulls interrupt into a concerto of familiar cawing vocals. The jeweled waters and pure quartz crystal sand stretch along the Gulf for miles uninterrupted by tall buildings or distractions. This is the place honeymoon plans and dreams are realized and celebrated. Be sure to ask the Court Concierge in advance to arrange a beach bonfire set-up with Seaside’s partner, CC. Boone, so you can enjoy a romantic evening under the stars where moonbeams dance across the water. Ahh…you are now on Seaside time, complete with a Gulf lullaby. While the beach is your main attraction, you will also have access to three swimming pools. Try the adult pool located at the north end of Seaside Avenue.
You will enjoy many activities during your stay. After relaxing, play tennis, pickleball, or croquet. Seaside was designed for people to walk, bike and enjoy the outdoors—making navigating easy and enjoyable. For a superb dining adventure, make a reservation for Bud and Alley’s Waterfront Restaurant and Rooftop Bar. The famous restaurant recently boasts an expanded Sky Deck. From the rooftop, you can join in with other patrons watching the sun swell into the Gulf, leaving streaks of pastels that even an artist’s brush could not mimic. To celebrate the end of the day, a cast-iron bell from an 1888 steam train is rung to honor the sunset. While the scenery is stunning, wait until you try the food. Since 1986, the award-winning restaurant has been supporting local fishermen and farmers making the cuisine legendary. Try the Seafood Gumbo for starters; the Roasted Beets is a must-have. Our favorite entrees were the delicious Crab Cakes and Roasted Salmon. Steak lovers will enjoy the chargrilled NY Strip. Freshness does make a difference. For lunch, stop by Wild Bill’s Beach Dogs for scrumptious hotdog and Brauhaus soft pretzels. Steps from the Ivory Tower sits the Parisian-style Café, Black Bear Bread Co. This bakery serves breakfast all day, along with sandwiches, pastries, and other specialties. Try the Paris Ham with your choice of biscuit or croissant, and add a fresh blueberry muffin or other pastries made daily. Next on your list, should be the Great Southern. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, this establishment is known for its “new-fashioned” southern cuisine. For comfort food with a southern-coastal flair, try the Mac & Cheese with Bacon and Shrimp. For beef lovers, elevate your taste buds with Grits and Grillade. At the Shrimp Shack, choose from the fresh Steamed Gulf Shrimp by the pound, ice-cold Gulf Oysters on the half shell, or steamed Lobster Roll.
