Athens Weddings: Wedding Pictures at the Historic UGA Arch in Athens, Georgia

To kick off football season, I thought it would be fun to post these fabulous wedding photos taken at the UGA Arch by our friends at ZoomWorks.

Most UGA Students and Alumnae are aware of the legend that if you walk under the Arch while you are a freshman you will never graduate. I graduated from the University of Georgia, and knowing the legend, did not walk under the arch while I was a freshman - yes, I can be superstitious but it worked for me :-) You can read about the entire history of the UGA Arch here.

The Arch is a fun place for wedding photos if you are planning an Athens Wedding. Or, if you graduated from UGA but are planning an Atlanta wedding, consider taking a trip up 316 to your old stomping grounds for some fun wedding or engagement pics!
