This wedding celebration transformed from "Bold & Striking Asian" on Friday to "Southern Plantation Pink" on Saturday.

Karen & William wanted an Asian-themed rehearsal dinner, but Karen still wanted her pastel pink wedding and reception. They found both at the Washington Grass Inn in the historic Greensboro/Lake Oconee, GA area. The transformation from southern plantation to Asian began with their rehearsal dinner. Bold oranges, lime greens and lacquered blacks were the order in the courtyard on Friday evening, along with a menu of Pad Thai, Mango Slaw, Korean Bar-B-Q, customized Fortune Cookies and other Asian-style selections. Saturday's wedding ceremony in the romantic Circle of Trees, and reception under a stunning thousand-plus light twinkle-tent, were graced with pastel pinks and loden greens, vintage mismatched dinnerware, glowing ivory lanterns and mahogany farm tables. The weekend's perfect weather laid claim to why Autumn weddings in the South are simply the best!

2019 Note: The Washington Grass Inn notified us that they are slowing down and no longer hosting weddings at their location.
