Nestled on a quiet street surrounded by elegant trees, the Flint Hill Mansion, located
in
historic Norcross, is the essence of Southern charm and hospitality. This 170-year old
home
is a unique blend of the old south and modern function. Built in 1835, the mansion
captures
the antebellum era yet is minutes from the cosmopolitan, fast-paced city of Atlanta.
Named
to the National Historic Register in 1979, this two-story building opened as a special
event
facility in 1986 with full-service catering and personalized attention.
Owned and operated by Magic Moments, Inc, the Flint Hill Mansion is a beautiful
location for weddings, corporate events, and meetings. Magic Moments, Inc. specializes
in
wedding receptions and provides complete catering, including floral, ceremonial décor,
reception décor for groups up to 350 guests.
There are outdoor and indoor locations for wedding ceremonies and receptions
both providing beautiful photo opportunities. Inside the mansion, guests enjoy
exclusive use
of the entire facility throughout the event. The downstairs area contains a gift room,
groom’s room and bar as well as a large ballroom that includes the buffet area, dance
floor
and outside access. The beautiful outdoor gazebo provides a romantic garden setting for
the
bride and groom for their final vows. After the ceremony, the chairs are removed and
tables
are set up to provide a reception area in addition to the indoor reception room.
Located on the second floor is a beautiful bridal suite, complete with full-
length
mirror and private bathroom. It is in this room that the bride and groom can enjoy a
private
meal at the “Table for Two” following their ceremony.
The menus are extensive providing a wide selection of meal options. There are
menus for brunch, day reception buffets, classic buffet receptions, as well as a Sweet
Sensation dessert menu. The venue also provides memorable rehearsal dinners complete
with themes and special décor packages.
