are there any asian caterers?

My fiance and I have been talking about what reception sites and figuring out which one will work best for us. I honestly wanted a ballroom type deal where its super nice and pretty, but he wants to do it at a restarant with the food already there. We are both asian american and I want a more american wedding as oppose to an asian one. I don't mind wearing the traditional clothes, but I know our guests are going to want the asian thai cuisine. We just don't know where we would have to go to find about it. HELP!

Congratulations on your wedding! The prospect of successfully combining 2 cultures can seem daunting, but with a little creativity, it can be done with grace and elegance. My recommendation  would be to find a venue that allows you to bring in your own caterer. Then you need to interview several caterers (make sure you have your food budget determined before these interviews) and schedule tastings of their asian/thai style foods to see which one is the best fit. There are several great venues in the ATL area that allow you to bring in your own caterer, and there are many wonderful caterers. Good luck and Happy Planning!
